A working meeting was held at the headquarters of the Romanian Government between representatives of the Department for the Execution of ECHR Judgments (DEJ) of the Council of Europe and representatives of public institutions, which make up the Interministerial Committee on monitoring the implementation of the “Action Plan for the period 2025–2029 for the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in the field of mental health” in which the concrete measures proposed by the Romanian side to strengthen the aspects identified as priorities following the evaluation and the decision adopted at the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in the Human Rights format were analyzed.

DEJ representatives appreciated that improved coordination, the use of working groups, and quarterly reporting will contribute to a more efficient implementation of the Action Plan, so that Romania ensures the fulfillment of the elements of the monitoring process regarding mental health issues.
