Cseke Attila, the interim Minister of Health, requested representatives of the Sanitary Inspection to initiate an urgent check at the medical office in the capital where, following an aesthetic procedure, a patient went into a cerebral coma and then died. The control team went to the scene, but the health inspectors found the medical office closed, which is why the checks could not be started.
To the extent that access is permitted, inspectors will verify:

• Compliance with the sanitary operating authorization;

• Respect for medical circuits;

• Compliance with hygienic and sanitary conditions, according to legal attributions.

The Ministry of Health will continue the steps to complete the control, and the results of the checks will be made public.
