Smoke Free Partnership announced that an upcoming webinar titled “Where Addiction Begins: How the Tobacco Industry Targets Youth Today” will be held on 27 May 2026 (14:00–15:30 CET), ahead of World No Tobacco Day.

The event will examine how the tobacco and nicotine industry continues to adapt its strategies to attract young users, including the use of new product formats and evolving digital marketing techniques. It will also highlight policy responses and prevention approaches aimed at reducing youth initiation and addiction.

The session will bring together expert perspectives, youth voices, and policy stakeholders, with a focus on strengthening regulatory and public health measures to better protect future generations from nicotine use.
