The joint initiative “Hope4Kids – Holistic Pediatric Palliative Care for Children in Europe” aims to improve and harmonize pediatric palliative care in Europe for children with serious or life-limiting illnesses. Running from 2025 to 2029 in collaboration with partners from 23 countries, the project aims to reduce inequalities in access to care by developing evidence-based guidelines, pilot programs, education and professional training, as well as cooperation at the public policy level. The main goal is for every child and family to receive holistic and timely pediatric palliative care, regardless of the country or region where they live.
