The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) has launched a Call for Inputs on amendments to the template used for its roaming data collection, with contributions due by 3 July 2026.
The update follows stakeholder feedback from earlier consultations in 2026, which supported maintaining quarterly roaming data collection and the current reporting cycle (Q4 of year X to Q3 of year X+1). BEREC has confirmed it will keep the core structure of the process, including quarterly data gathering and annual autumn launches.
The revised template reflects recent developments, including the extension of the Roam Like at Home regime to Ukraine and Moldova on 1 January 2026, as well as simplification measures proposed in BEREC’s 2025 Opinion on EU roaming regulation.
Operators and stakeholders are invited to submit comments on the revised template and clarify any issues related to specific indicators via an EU Survey. Early submissions are encouraged, and late responses will not be accepted.
