The Ministry of Health informs that the Memorandum approving the exceeding of the national contribution by over 25% has been approved, this being the last administrative stage necessary for the full coverage of the costs of the medical unit.

The project to build the new Zerlendi Tuberculosis Diagnostic and Treatment Center within the National Institute of Pneumophthisiology “Marius Nasta” is thus entering a straight line.

The new modern medical unit is being built within the premises of the “Marius Nasta” Institute and will ensure European treatment standards. It will have 115 beds for continuous hospitalization, a modern operating block with 3 operating rooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, spaces dedicated to research and medical education, an integrated digital system, fully interoperable with the main IT platforms in the health system.
