Ireland has advanced legislation aimed at tightening regulation of vapes and other nicotine products, according to Tobacco Journal . The bill would restrict vape flavours to tobacco or non-flavoured options and introduce stricter rules on packaging, advertising, and in-store displays.

It also extends regulation to nicotine pouches, including a ban on sales to under-18s. The measure now moves to the Seanad for further debate, with final approval and EU clearance still pending.
