The new Zerlendi Tuberculosis Diagnostic and Treatment Center, within the “Marius Nasta” Institute, has reached an execution stage of 89%, and the completion deadline is August 31, 2026. After unblocking the project by updating the technical and economic indicators, securing financing and paying all outstanding invoices, the works were resumed at a sustained pace, with approximately 200 workers on site. The investment is financed 30% by the PNRR and 70% from the state budget and represents a strategic project for the healthcare system. The authorities state that the other hospitals financed by the PNRR have also entered a normal implementation pace, the objective being the completion of all investments for the benefit of patients.
