The Ministry of Health has launched a draft order in decisional transparency that modernizes the exam for obtaining the title of specialist doctor. Starting with the session in the second semester of 2026, the written test will have unique topics at the national level for each specialty, developed on the day of the exam by a national commission formed by residency coordinators. The papers will be corrected locally, according to a single national scale. The measure aims to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation for all candidates. For the next session, registrations will take place between August 24 and September 7, and the exam will take place between October 7 and November 3. The order is expected to be published in the Official Gazette around August 4.
