European funding for equipping the major burns centers in Timișoara and Târgu Mureș will increase from 25.18 million to 185 million euros , to cover the real need for equipment and ensure modern treatments.

• Timișoara: the center is also completed in reception; it will have 6 boxes for severe burns, 6 reserves, 5 beds for microsurgery, ICU with 27 beds, 25 operating rooms, UPU-SMURD and heliport.

• Târgu Mureș: the investment is 95% complete; it will include 5 beds for critical patients, 10 for intermediate therapy and reconstructive surgery, an ICU with 44 beds, 25 operating rooms, sterilization and transfusion units, and a heliport.
