The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) has launched a call for input on possible amendments to its roaming benchmark data collection procedure, with a submission deadline of 20 April 2026.
The initiative follows the extension of the EU’s “Roam Like at Home” regime to Ukraine and Moldova on 1 January 2026, as well as simplification proposals outlined in BEREC’s 2025 opinion on EU roaming rules.
BEREC said it is seeking feedback from telecom operators before making any changes to data collection templates. Updated templates are expected to be shared with operators for consultation by the end of May, ahead of finalisation.
Stakeholders are encouraged to submit contributions via an EU Survey, preferably in English, and as early as possible. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.
