In today’s Government meeting, the Memorandum on the organization of competitions for filling 22 vacant positions of medical assistants at the “MS Curie” Children’s Emergency Clinical Hospital, promoted by the Ministry of Health, was approved .
The approval of the 22 positions for the “MS Curie” Hospital solves only a specific problem, not the shortage of personnel in the entire healthcare system. The interim Minister of Health, Cseke Attila, emphasizes that many hospitals in Romania are still facing a lack of medical staff, which affects patients’ access to services and puts pressure on existing personnel. The Ministry of Health continues the steps to unblock the vacant positions at the national level, the project being close to completing the approval process.
